900 JCSKN is a twelve-unit, luxury condominium on the St. Joseph River in Elkhart, Indiana. This design is part of the city’s River District, a new up-and-coming neighborhood close to downtown.
The twelve residential units are located in two rectangular buildings that take advantage of river views and define the edges of a park-like common area orientated to the water. One of the project’s communal amenities, this landscaped courtyard leads to a 300-foot-long boardwalk with mooring docks for boat access.
Loft-like units feature floor-to-ceiling windows and range in size from 1,500 to 2,800 square feet with one to three bedrooms. Larger condominiums include terraces and balconies for outdoor living overlooking the waterfront. Although this was the most modern design in Elkhart’s new River District, all the condominiums sold out soon after construction was finished.
