Young Israel of Scarsdale

This significant renovation and expansion of an Orthodox Synagogue in Scarsdale requires the removal of the existing aging facility apart from the preservation of the landmark sanctuary. The program includes an expansion of the social hall, new classrooms, kitchens, chapel, enlarged entrance, pre-function spaces, womens and mens mikvah, youth lounge, outdoor playground, and reorganized circulation. The site requires careful planning due to a number of zoning and city easements.
