"Light and the Space of the Void" was an exhibit curated by Alex Gorlin for the Sandra Gering Gallery in New York City. Inspired by his book Kabbalah in Art and Architecture, the exhibition explored how aspects of light and space can be seen directly or indirectly in modern and contemporary art.

the exhibition featured work by Daniel Buren, Anish Kapoor, Anselm Kiefer, Yayoi Kusama, Barnett Newman, Kenneth Noland, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Frank Lloyd Wright, and Alexander Gorlin that focused specifically on light and its relationship to the void.
