PS 92 Library

The design for this public school library provides a bright, welcoming space for study. Commissioned by the not-for-profit Robin Hood Foundation, the ideas of light and enlightenment inform the overall design. Colorful ceiling panels subtly partition the space, defining areas for reading, storytelling and computer work. The space is furnished with custom-designed cabinetry and seating. This project was one of 21 libraries built by the foundation in underserved communities throughout New York City.
