This office for a New York marketing agency reflects the firm’s corporate identity through its bold colors and industrial materials. A Venetian color scheme of bright blue, red, and yellow counterbalances walls clad with corrugated steel and floors finished in polished concrete. At the entrance to the office, a sensual, curving wall billows out to the right, creating a reception area with a custom millwork desk for the receptionist. The curving, bright red wall leads to a conference room built of corrugated steel with a glass partition in an arc shape. On the opposite side of the reception area, a straight wall paneled in zinc faces a linear corridor illuminated by round ceiling “cloud” lights. Individual offices are placed at the building’s perimeter to take advantage of natural light and views of the Hudson River.
