AGA's affordable housing research highlighted in Bronx Times

We are partnering with faith-based community activist group Metro Industrial Areas Foundation's new Bronx affiliate to identify vacant City-owned sites that could be developed into affordable housing. Metro IAF is presenting our analysis to the Mamdani administration to help spur the City's affordable housing development process and meet its ambitious goals.

The Bronx Times featured Metro IAF's inaugural meeting of Bronx First, its new borough-wide coalition of faith-based groups and residents whose goal is to build political power and address social issues, including the lack of affordable housing. Bronx First presented our site analyses of twenty-two vacant City-owned sites in the Bronx that collectively could have 25,000 affordable units built on them.

Metro IAF is in active discussions with Mamdani adminstration officials to develop underutilized City-owned land across the five boroughs.
